Here is today's reading and prayer:
Pray: for God to unify our church. Pray that we will have such a strong community of faith that thousands of people will be attracted to it.
Some other food ideas. I made some fresh salsa last night and you can eat 100% corn chips with it. Since I am a native Floridian I also made some boiled peanuts with sea salt for seasoning.
Would love to hear how you guys are doing. stories@canthisbechurch.com
The message video will be up later today, we had some audio issues so not great audio, but it should be good enough.

Good luck today! The first couple days will be the hardest with the caffeine withdraws.
Thanks! Actually, I am fine so far... a little tired, but no headache! Go God!!!
I have a Coke addiction myself so I feel your pain... no wait... I dont feel any pain :) ...
This is going to be a huge undertaking... I am afraid of failing as I am not known for my will power.... but God told me just last night... "My grace is suffcient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness" II Cor. 12:9... so even if I slip up... he will overcome for me!!! Thank you Jesus!!! and Thank you Church of the Suncoast for challenging me and helping me take my next steps! Good Luck to everyone!!!
Good stuff, hang in there! I have been doing OK so far. Just had some homemade salsa and corn chips for a snack!
Just got home from the farmers market and grocery... boy eating healthy can get expensive!
Just an FYI for those on the fast... the LOL farmers market has HUGE portebello mushrooms on sale for half price... I got two for only 80 cents!! Plus if you are missing steak... put one of these on the grill brush lightly with olive oil, a little salt and pepper and YUM YUM... has a real meaty feel and taste!!
Oh and for ketchup lovers.... Hunts has a new all natural with no preservatives!! YEAH!
I think this just might work... I am already feeling better about makign the decision to take on this challenge!!! GO GOD!!!!!!!
Hi, Pastor. I came across your blog and want to let you know about my blog, Those Who Hunger, which provides recipes and devotions for people doing the Daniel Fast. Perhaps it will encourage you on your journey as you seek the Lord. May God bless you richly as you hunger and thirst for Him.
